Notice of Joint Public Hearing

It is the intention of the legislative authorities of Monclova Township, the City of Maumee,  and the City of Toledo to enter into a Cooperative Economic Development Agreement for the purposes of promoting cooperative regional development and job creation and for other lawful purposes.  Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 701.07, a joint public hearing of the legislative authorities of Monclova, Maumee and Toledo, concerning the proposed Agreement, will be held on August 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., in the Toledo City Council Chambers, One Government Center, Toledo, Ohio.  The proposed Cooperative Economic Development Agreement and Exhibits are available to be inspected by the public during normal business hours at the offices of the Monclova Township Trustees at 4335 Albon Road, Monclova, Ohio; Maumee Municipal Clerk at 400 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio; and Toledo Clerk of  Council, One Government Center, Toledo, Ohio.

The Monclova Township Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to consider a Zoning Resolution text addition for the following:

1) Wind Turbines and related text

Applicant:  Zoning Commission.  Proposed changes are on file in the Zoning Office; examination: Mon 12-4, Tues-Fri, 8-4 or call 419-865-7857. This matter may be continued from month to month until all testimony is received.  Upon conclusion the matter will be referred to the Board of Trustees for final determination.

MMT JEDZ meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 5:00 PM, as needed, in the Monclova Township Meeting Room, 4335 Albon Road.

The next scheduled meeting is July 15th.

The Monclova Township Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the fourth Monday of every month at 6 PM as needed at the Monclova Township Meeting Room, 4335 Albon Road.

The Monclova Township Board of Trustees has contracted with GovDeals, Inc., for the sale of surplus and obsolete vehicles, equipment, tools, etc. via internet auction. A list of items to be offered for sale may be found online from time to time at www.monclovatwp.org or www.govdeals.com.  All property is offered for sale “As Is, Where Is”. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Please read the Online Sales, Terms and Conditions prior to bidding. Monclova Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale any of the items listed. Successful bidders will receive a Buyer’s Certificate by email from GovDeals, Inc. Payment in full is due not later than five business days from the time and date of the buyer’s certificate.
